The ChemTurf Company provides everything your lawn needs to grow healthy and green – from the root source up to the blade tips. The service is separated into 5 applications: Spring, Early Summer, Summer, Fall, and Late Fall.

At each application a different combination of material is applied that is appropriate for the time of the year. Along with proper watering and mowing, your lawn will turn into a lush, green, pleasant place to spend time with your family and will enhance the beauty of your home.

Spring Application:

In the Spring, we give your lawn a head start on the growing season. The Gypsum added into our fertilizer loosens the soil and allows it to breathe. We seed bare spots, and apply the pre-emergence crabgrass control and spot weed control. Our Pre-emergence blend does not interact with our seed germination as it is manufactured specifically for our company this way.

Early Summer Application:

In Early Summer, we proactively address insects with our grub control fertilizer to prevent any grub and chinch bug infestation during the summer months and we spot weed control if weather permits.

Summer Application:

This is the time to feed the lawn and not cause undue stress to the grass blades that are already being affected by the high heat, direct sun and humidity. Nutsedge & Post Emergence Crab Grass Sprays can be conducted during this application.

Fall Application:

In the Fall, we will once again apply the Starter Fertilizer with Gypsum. This helps with loosening the soil below the surface for good oxygen flow and deeper-rooted grasses. We will seed the entire lawn and apply weed control to help build upon the lawn’s health and vitality.

In the Fall, we will again use power spike aeration on your lawn, re-seed bare spots, and apply material that will build upon your lawn’s health and vitality.

Late Fall Application:

In the late Fall, we winterize your lawn and apply lime to achieve a proper pH for your soil so it will nourish your lawn during the cold winter months.

All the material used on your lawn is in full compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations and is in granular or liquid form. What goes into your lawn is 100% material, there is no fill or fluff. If there is an issue with the material we put down or its application, ChemTurf will come back and reapply the application at no cost to the customer, that’s our company guarantee.
